IELTS Academic

IELTS Academic is for people planning to study in higher education or seeking professional registration. It assesses whether you are ready to begin studying or training in an environment where English is the first language used. IELTS Academic doesn’t presume that the test takers have already mastered the variety of skills that the respective university or a college would need. For this reason, while the test replicates some of the features of academic language, it does not aim to create academic study tasks in their entirety. This approach is widely sustained by the institutions that recognize IELTS all over the world.

IELTS General Training

IELTS General Training put some spotlight on the basic endurance skills and knowledge of a person who wants to settle in another country. This form of IELTS is to check and assess the basic understanding of English as a foreign language. It is characteristically for those who are going to English-speaking countries to do secondary education, work experience or training programs. People who are migrating to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK must take the General Training test. It should be noted that professional organizations normally require an Academic test result for registration and migration purposes, but general IELTS is also important for people who wish to migrate to another country.
